CAROL HODDER

These spontaneous drawings on paper were made during April 2020, when we were immersed in the first Lockdown of the Covid Pandemic. The materials; foraged charcoal, acrylic and wood smoke, record a response to numerous days spent clearing an overgrown part of woodland. The exercise of engaging with materials to hand was cathartic at that time.
